As of this year, the S 900 Q design variant expands the System 900 and sets modern accents with a square design language. Available in stainless steel, chrome and powder-coated in white, black and gray, the new accessories can be combined with all System 900 products for a consistent design.

New design options

The expansion of the System 900 in the area of hinged support rails and hinged seats offers new design options and colour combinations. In addition to a chrome and stainless steel look, the products are also available with a matt surface. With their clear style and colour concept, they can be harmoniously combined with existing System 900 standard products. The extensions are well thought-through down to the smallest detail and impress with their high functionality.

Magnetic handheld shower head holder

The new, patented magnetic handheld shower head holder from HEWI is not only user-friendly but also safe and easy to clean. As an expert in accessible sanitary solutions, HEWI continuously develops products that increase ease of use for all people, provide more safety and make a difference in terms of hygiene and ease of cleaning. HEWI's magnetic handheld shower head holder is a perfect example of this.

It is available in stainless steel, chrome or powder-coated in white, black or gray and is the latest in the System 900 series of accessible solutions. It is extra simple to use and is suitable for all people, especially those with physical limitations. The holder’s magnetic function allows for easily height adjustment without the need for buttons or knobs. It also has a continuously rotatable cone holder. This means that it can be used without any physical effort and with limited motor skills. The novel magnetic principle replaces the traditional clamping mechanism, eliminating any difficulty presented by wet hands. There are virtually no mechanical forces acting on the holder, reducing wear to a minimum. The shower rails, angle handles and shower handrails with magnetic shower holder from System 900 are now available in a diameter of either 25 mm or 32 mm.

ADA compliant products

Engineered to meet ADA

Safety, independence and comfortable use are decisive factors in the field of professional care. System 900 is designed to support people with limited mobility. The variety of shower seats allows for a perfectly fitting solution. Available are permanently installed shower seats, hanging seats or mobile solutions. They can be folded onto the wall to save space. The hanging seat is particularly light; it weighs less than 9 kg and is therefore easy to carry without much effort. 

Shower seat

The System 900 shower seat is easy to clean with its non-porous surface. It is available in different sizes and designs. The large seat surface provides more comfort and safety. High quality materials ensure a secure hold -  The shower seat has a load capacity of up to (204 kg).

Support hinged rail

Durable, reliable quality is not only evident in the materials, but also in the technical details. The System 900 hinged support rails have a maintenance-free brake that dampens the lowering of the handle (only at an angle of more than 45° does the handle automatically lower gently, at an angle of less than 45° it remains in any position). A defined stop prevents the hinged support rails from hitting the wall.

Flexibility

Mobile shower seats and hinged support rails

With the mobile shower seats and hinged support rails, the bathroom can be individually designed. With the mobile solutions, the sanitary room can be flexibly adapted to the needs and personal abilities of the user. 

They offer the same functionality as permanently installed shower seats or hinged support rails: they can be folded against the wall to save space and have the same load-bearing capacity. The mobile shower seat is available in two sizes. The mobile hinged support rails is available as a mono or duo version. The optional elements toilet roll holder and radio flush release integrated in the hinged support rails offer additional comfort.

The mobile solutions are particularly easy to install and just as easy to dismantle. Thanks to the tool-less assembly, they can be attached in a few easy steps if required. For this purpose, the mobile solution is snapped into a permanently installed mounting plate and secured with a fastening screw. If the support is no longer required, the shower seat or hinged support rails can be easily removed by loosening the screw. Finally, the mounting plate is hidden behind a discreet cover

With immediate effect, new accessories will complement the range. Practical toilet roll holders with lid or shelf, new towel holders or toilet brush sets matching System 900 are available in stainless steel, chrome and powder-coated in white, grey and black.

Clever technology

System 900 is the answer to the versatile, complex requirements of barrierfree bathrooms in the Professional Care sector. The functions of System 900 aim to support the independence and well-being of patients in the best possible way. Hygienic surfaces make cleaning easier and relieve the strain on care personnel.

Hygienic sealing element

Due to wall unevenness, the fixing rosette often does not completely flush with the wall. With the sealing element a quickly applicable and reliable sealing is available. It can be fitted to the wall brackets of the hinged support rails and shower seats as well as the fixing rosettes of the support handles and bar systems. The products are designed in such a way that the water does not collect on the surfaces and can run off.

Easy cleaning

Hygiene is a decisive factor for use in the Professional Care sector. System 900 products are made from as few components as possible, so that only a very small number of joints are created. Due to a particularly precise manufacturing process, components are joined together in such a way that the surface is as smooth and hygienic as possible. 

Simplified with the push-and-lock connection

The System 900 railing systems and shower handrails feature a clever, particularly simple installation technique. Instead of the usual four fixing points, only three rosettes are required. This speeds up the assembly considerably. In addition, the new fastening technology allows the angle tolerance in the room corner to be compensated by up to +/- 2°.
